Carolyn Mahoney advises clients on a wide range of regulatory, transactional, operational, and policy issues in the communications, internet, and technology sectors. Carolyn regularly counsels on matters related to spectrum management and acquisitions, interconnection agreements, and data services.
Her experience includes assisting and advising clients on multibillion-dollar acquisitions of domestic and international telecommunications, wireline, cable, and submarine cable networks. Carolyn is further experienced with FCC enforcement proceedings; preparing responses to Team Telecom and CFIUS transfer of control proceedings; advising on the Universal Service Fund and related USAC inquiries; and representing telecom companies before state public utility commissions. She is well versed in the FCC's licensing systems and other databases.
Carolyn is also familiar with helping satellite clients navigate satellite-related licensing, compliance, and transactional matters, including those related to satellite constellation procurement, launch, and operations.
