Yuping Wang advises U.S. and Chinese companies on their establishment and operations across the Pacific. She helps clients develop their market entry strategy, assess risks, devise mitigation actions, and structure their investments through joint venture or merger and acquisition. With concrete legal knowledge of both China and United States and bilingual language abilities, a cross-cultural background with exposure to both western and Chinese entrepreneurial environments, and a deeply focused commercial practice spanning over 25 years, Yuping masters the complexity and the dynamic of the corporate world in the international and local context. She has led a large number of commercial and legal negotiations on behalf of clients in land purchases, retail network establishment, and in the development of hotel projects as well as manufacturing facilities.

From startups and family-owned businesses to multinational corporations, Yuping advises clients on daily operational issues, covering areas such as employment matters, commercial contract preparation and enforcement, real property lease and purchase, dispute resolution, trademark and copyright, application for special licenses, and compliance audits. Her significant experience in the hospitality, retail, and construction industries are well appreciated by clients including Starbucks, Microsoft, Marriott Hotels Groups, U.S. manufacturers, and architectural firms.

Helped clients negotiate more than a hundred architect design contracts in China, also be responsible for their enforcement and disputes resolutions; handling real estate due diligence, lease, related transaction and licensing on daily basis for international chain store and restaurants such as Starbucks.

Experienced at advising U.S. and Chinese clients on international workforce assignments, including contract drafting and negotiation, tax and benefit compensation arrangements, visa / work permit application, and relocation assistance.
