Andrea Wolfman focuses her practice on the federal regulation of natural gas and electric utilities and the developers of renewable generation and electric storage. She has also advised natural gas and oil pipelines. Andrea's experience in government and private practice affords clients a valuable perspective with an unusual combination of policy and regulatory experience.

She provides strategic advice, compliance counseling, and representation in matters concerning the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Department of Energy, DOT/PHMSA, and NERC, among others. She has also advised and represented clients in state public utility regulatory matters.

Before entering private practice, Andrea spent 24 years at FERC where she was a longtime senior executive and participated in policymaking for the restructuring of the natural gas and electric industries. In her last position at FERC, she led the commission's enforcement office as the associate general counsel for market oversight and enforcement.

Additionally, for 13 years, Andrea was FERC's assistant general counsel for pipeline rates, responsible for the office that produced the orders and regulations governing natural gas and oil pipeline rates and terms of service.
