AUGUST 2, 2018 – In recognition of the firm's high numbers of women in leadership positions, family-friendly policies, and success in retaining and promoting women lawyers, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has been named one of the country's Best Law Firms for Women by Working Mother magazine. This is the firm's fifth consecutive year on the list.

Davis Wright Tremaine's success in elevating women to positions of leadership is notable, even by the standards of the Best Law Firms for Women list. The magazine reported that women make up, on average, 20 percent of equity partners at firms on the list. At Davis Wright Tremaine, women make up 25 percent of equity partners.

Among the leadership roles currently held by women at the firm are chair of the firm's Executive Committee, chair of the Attorney Evaluation Committee, partners-in-charge in New York and Los Angeles, and chair or co-chair of several of the firm's top practice areas.

Law360 recently described Davis Wright Tremaine as a "ceiling smasher" for its success in promoting women and called the firm one of the five best in BigLaw for women and minority attorneys.

The firm's commitment to advancing women extends beyond the walls of the firm and includes Project W, a multifaceted initiative to help professional women further their careers, achieve parity in the workplace, and improve their lives.
