SEPTEMBER 2, 2015 – In recognition of the firm’s success in collaborating with clients to build new solutions and service delivery models, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has been named 2015 "Innovative Law Firm of the Year” by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).
ILTA is the leading industry group for law firms and legal departments seeking to strategically deploy technology. The award was announced last night at ILTACON in Las Vegas, a four-day conference attended by thousands of AmLaw 200 leaders, vendors, and in-house lawyers from many of the world’s leading companies.
According to ILTA, the award recognizes firms that “have delivered great business value and transformational impact through innovations and implementations.”

Members of Davis Wright Tremaine’s research and development arm, DWT De Novo, accepted the award on behalf of the firm and presented their work to the conference attendees.
Comprised of senior attorneys, process improvement experts, technologists, and pricing and marketing professionals, the De Novo team has partnered with multiple clients to rapidly prototype new solutions that help resolve their unique challenges. The team has had considerable success in improving internal efficiencies, delivering greater transparency for clients into legal budgets and processes, and leveraging data analytics to help clients mitigate risk.
