DECEMBER 4, 2018 – Davis Wright Tremaine has once again been recognized as one of country’s most innovative law firms, as The American Lawyer named the firm a finalist for its inaugural Legal Services Innovation Award.
Just seven firms are finalists for the 2018 award, which honors a law firm “that has changed the way it does business to better deliver value to the client.” The winner will be announced at a gala dinner this week.
Davis Wright Tremaine’s innovation initiative is led by DWT De Novo, a cross-functional team combining systems design, process improvement, technology, data analytics, and alternative staffing models to build legal solutions tailored to client pain-points. DWT De Novo finds new ways to handle high-volume bodies of work and uses data to draw out business insight.
Davis Wright Tremaine has been regularly recognized as an innovation leader. In 2016, the International Legal Technology Association named the firm “Innovative Law Firm of the Year” for the second consecutive year, and in 2017 the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Report named the firm a “Standout” in the “service & delivery” category for the second consecutive year.
