Scottland Glenn
Associate
Scottland Glenn counsels lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions, particularly with respect to affordable housing products that include low-income housing tax credits. He is experienced with advising developers (both for-profit and non-profit) and lenders in the structuring and negotiation of complex tax-exempt and taxable financing transactions for the acquisition, refinance, and disposition of multifamily residential rental complexes.
Scottland is also experienced with coordinating with third parties—including appraisers, surveyors, title/escrow companies, investors, lenders, real estate management companies, architects and contractors—in connection with real estate transactions and post-closing requirements and monitoring. Applying his breadth of experience, Scottland works collaboratively with his clients to identify the key financing and real estate issues applicable to the applicable transaction and apply innovative solutions that meet his clients' business needs.
