Davis Wright Tremaine's Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, in honor of Black History Month, is proud to present a discussion on how inclusive teams are vital to innovation on Thursday, February 19 at 12:00 pm PT / 3:00 pm ET. This program is part of the DEI Education Series and is eligible for the Shared Impact Credit.

In a world shaped by rising complexity and rapid technological change, innovation is crucial for driving progress and creating meaningful impact. Diverse teams hold the transformative power to build breakthrough ideas, as inclusivity fosters new perspectives, unlocks creativity, and strengthens emotional connections to brands and organizations.

We are excited to welcome Greg Hoffman to discuss how embracing inclusion as a core strategy enables organizations to craft powerful ideas and lasting legacies. Hoffman is a global brand leader, former NIKE Chief Marketing Officer, and founder and principal of the brand leadership platform, Modern Arena. For 28 years, he held marketing, design, and innovation leadership positions at NIKE. Today, as founder and principal of Modern Arena, Hoffman advises Fortune 500 brands, startups, and nonprofits on creating brand strength, business growth, and social impact. Hoffman brought all of his brand experience to the world last year through his best-selling book Emotion by Design: Creative Leadership Lessons From a Life at Nike.

Throughout this conversation, Hoffman will discuss how leaders can prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion while balancing business growth with social impact. The conversation will cover navigating social shifts, fostering workplace belonging, and integrating technology without losing the human touch. This program will be moderated by Julia Bennett, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer.
