SEATTLE, JUNE 9, 2011 – Michele Radosevich, a partner in the Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, has been elected president-elect of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA). The WSBA Board of Governors confirmed her election at the association’s annual meeting in Kennewick, Wash., on June 3.
Ms. Radosevich begins her term as president-elect this September and takes office as WSBA president in September 2012.
As president-elect, Ms. Radosevich will handle presidential responsibilities when the current president cannot perform those duties. When she takes office as president in September 2012, she will be the chief spokesperson of the WSBA and will preside over the Board of Governors, execute the policies and goals of the WSBA, and assign and appoint committees and task forces to advance WSBA objectives.
“We’re excited for Michele as she takes on this new role,” said Susan Duffy, partner-in-charge of Davis Wright Tremaine’s Seattle office. “Our lawyers and clients hold her in high regard, and I’m confident she’ll represent the Bar and its 34,000 members as well as she has represented our firm.”
Ms. Radosevich is a commercial litigator focusing on state and local tax issues for clients doing business in Washington state. She has served as chair of the state and local tax committee as well as the legislative committee for the WSBA and is a member of the law alumni board for Seattle University School of Law.
