APRIL 16, 2012 – Roxanne Elings, a nationally-recognized attorney in the area of brand protection and enforcement, has joined the New York office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP as a partner.
Elings was most recently co-chair of the global trademarks/brand management practice at Greenberg Traurig LLP. She has extensive experience with worldwide intellectual property protection programs, including trademark infringement and anti-counterfeiting litigation, in the areas of outdoor performance and fashion apparel, luxury goods, electronic consumer products, and entertainment.
In the World Trademark Review’s recently-published WTR-1000 annual rankings, Elings received top honors in the categories of trademark prosecution, litigation/enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting. She was the only attorney to achieve top national rankings in all three categories, which, according to World Trademark Review, were given to those attorneys who demonstrated "exceptional national reach and reputation."
