DWT received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index. The Human Rights Campaign is the nation’s largest civil rights organization dedicated to LGBT issues and has researched and rated large U.S. employers on their policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees for 12 years. Among the 40 policies and practices tracked by the Index are: non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Davis Wright’s efforts in satisfying all of the criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
