AUGUST 5, 2014 – In recognition of the firm’s family-friendly policies, and its initiatives to retain and advance women, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has been named to the 2014 list of Best Law Firms for Women.
Only 50 firms are named to the list, which is compiled by Working Mother magazine and the consulting firm Flex-Time Lawyers.

The Best Lawyers for Women survey ranks firms on a wide variety of metrics. These include: female representation in the partnership ranks, availability of flex-time work, and business development opportunities specifically tailored to women.
Baca noted that Davis Wright Tremaine has had particular success with reduced-hours arrangements, and that numerous women have risen to partnership at the firm while working reduced hours.

Earlier this year, Davis Wright Tremaine received Gold Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum, recognizing the significant number of women in top leadership positions at the firm. Gold Certification was awarded to just 45 of the country’s largest law firms.
