JUNE 25, 2018 – Based on research into more than 300 U.S. law firms, Law360 has named Davis Wright Tremaine LLP one of the country’s best firms for women and minority lawyers.
Davis Wright is one of just five BigLaw firms (those with 300+ lawyers) having “above-average representation of both women and minorities at every level,” according to Law360.
“It's the rare law firm that is consistently ahead of the pack on hiring and promoting women and minorities,” said the news site. “[These firms are] showing demonstrable results in building a more diverse legal profession.”
Law360 called Davis Wright Tremaine a “Ceiling Smasher,” in recognition of the firm’s high percentage of women equity partners. The firm was also highly ranked for the percentage of minority lawyers.
Davis Wright Tremaine is regularly recognized as a diversity leader in the legal industry. The firm has been named to Working Mother magazine’s list of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women each of the past four years and was one of just seven firms nationwide to meet all of the 2017 Gold Certification benchmarks of the Women in Law Empowerment Forum.
