AUGUST 16, 2018 – The Women in Law Empowerment Forum, which recognizes and promotes advancement of women in the legal profession, has announced that Davis Wright Tremaine has been awarded Gold Standard certification for the eighth consecutive year.
Law firms with 300 or more practicing lawyers in the United States are eligible for 2018 WILEF Gold Standard certification if they successfully demonstrate that women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners, highest leadership positions, governance and compensation committees, and most highly compensated partners, and that there is meaningful diversity among their women partners.
Davis Wright Tremaine was one of just 18 firms to meet all six of the 2018 Gold Standard criteria.
Women leaders at Davis Wright Tremaine include the chair of our executive committee, the partners-in-charge at our New York and Los Angeles offices, and the co-chairs of our largest practice group.
Davis Wright Tremaine has achieved Gold Standard certification every year since WILEF inaugurated the award in 2011.
The firm’s commitment to advancing women extends beyond the walls of the firm and includes Project W, a multi-faceted initiative to help women advance their careers, launch successful companies, and achieve parity in the workplace.
