OCT. 13, 2026 – In its annual report on the legal industry's litigation market, BTI Consulting recognized Davis Wright Tremaine as a 2027 Litigation Powerhouse in the areas of intellectual property and employment.
The Powerhouse designation is reserved for firms that clients trust most for their complex, high-stakes matters. Fewer than 20 firms nationwide received the Powerhouse title in each of these two practice areas.
In addition, BTI's report elevated the firm's prior-year placement in three other practice areas—class action, product liability, and complex employment litigation—naming DWT a Leader in each of these practices.
BTI also placed DWT on its list of "Intimidating Opponents," reflecting strong client perceptions of the firm's litigation capabilities.
The BTI report is based entirely on surveys and interviews with legal decisionmakers at organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue, as well as other chief legal officers, business executives, and thought leaders.
