Lifeline Audits: Next Steps and the Tools You’ll Need for the Biennial Audits
The FCC has now finalized its guidelines for the biennial audits of ETCs that annually receive $5 million or more in federal Lifeline funding. In this webinar, DWT’s Lifeline team will first provide a refresher of what these audits mean for these ETCs and highlight what’s new in the final guidelines compared to the draft issued last fall. Second, we will go over the next steps for ETCs, including the process of hiring an auditor. Third, we will offer some practical tips and discuss tools that DWT can provide to assist in making the audit process more efficient, including a software platform created specifically by DWT for the biennial audits.
