Honesty in Family Communications Goes A Long Way

Chris Thompson of Reuters wrote an interesting article highlighting the usefulness of communication among family members and generations regarding the family wealth.  He debunks the theory that the next generation should be kept in the dark lest they feel “entitled.”  Some family businesses might find this a refreshing approach that could make succession planning that much more effective.
