All families have them, so how do we deal with them in a family business?

Laird Norton Company Chairman, Debbie Brown shared details of their family's current policy related to membership, participation, and ownership among their "married-in" members—the challenges they faced, lessons learned and their commitment to involving their married-in family members.

Debbie discussed a few chapters of her personal story, having been a "married-in" herself some 25 years ago and having recently been elected to serve as their Board Chairman.
