Bob Wallace. Chairman and CEO of Wallace Properties, and Bob Nuber, Chairman Emeritus of Clark Nuber discussed how Wallace Properties has grown from a small property management company into a full service commercial real estate enterprise, while at same time fostering multi-generational family involvement. Wallace Properties received the 2011 Washington Family Business Leadership Award from Seattle Business Magazine.

In this session, they provided an overview of the original family business, a joint venture, and the complexities that came along with generational and directional transitions. These particular complexities led to Mr. Wallace branching out on his own and growing what is today, Wallace Properties. They also discussed how working with an outside advisor (in this case, Bob Nuber) the company and the family were able to address a number of the more thorny issues facing all family businesses.
