Boisen, and partner John McKay, presented a virtual Continuing Legal Education Program covering the special rules that apply to in-house lawyers and professional staff doing pro bono work. The session examined the pro bono rule of professional responsibility, including what counts, how to get involved, avoiding malpractice issues, structuring corporate partnerships, and how to do meaningful work that aligns with your skills and interests. In addition, the presentation analyzed the business case for pro bono work.
