The FCBA Connected and Autonomous Vehicles and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics Committees co-sponsored a CLE entitled "An Introduction to Intersecting Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Vehicle Technologies and Regulation." This program was held virtually via the Zoom platform. DWT partner K.C. Halm presented the welcome to event attendees and provide the event introduction.

As part of this event, DWT associate Katherine Sheriff served as moderator for the panel "Recent Developments in Autonomous Vehicle Regulation." Topics featured during this panel included safety standards, autonomous vehicle and automated driving system technologies, and testing/pilot programs in the United States.

Panel description:

From the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards in the United States to state pilot program requirements, a panel of autonomous vehicle experts will provide an overview of autonomous vehicles and regulation and help educate practitioners on the fundamentals of the autonomous vehicle regulatory environment.
