The digital payments landscape is innovating rapidly on many fronts. How should we consider a federal stablecoin regulatory framework? Are we close? Why does it matter and what are the key challenges?

"Stablecoins: Bank Regulatory and Industry Perspectives," presented by Women in Housing and Finance and moderated by Alexandra Steinberg Barrage of DWT FinTech Women, included a mix of current and former federal bank regulatory and industry experts. The panel focused on recent legislative developments following the PWG Stablecoin Report in November 2021, and also touched on parallel developments involving a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency. Our experts also explored ongoing efforts to educate stakeholders domestically and globally about the benefits of crypto.
