Part two of our two-part series (click here for part one) discusses the fact that the Federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency will end on May 11, 2023. For some states, like California, the state public health emergency will end even sooner.

What does the end of the PHE mean for the future of the telehealth industry, HIPAA enforcement priorities, and the telehealth-related federal and state waivers? Join us for the second of this two-part series, we will devote an hour to discussing the impact the end of the CMS and California PHE-related waivers may have on hospitals and other providers that have availed themselves of increased flexibility during the PHE. We'll discuss what legal departments and compliance officers should be thinking about as they review uses of space and nursing care, medical record, verbal order and other policies and practices to assure compliance with Medicare CoPs and other requirements following the expiration of the PHE.
