In this installment of our Legacy Series, we hear from the leadership team of Evergreen Beauty College (EBC), a second-generation family-owned business. EBC has been training beauty professionals since 1996. Founded by Thi Trieu, a refugee who fled South Vietnam in 1975 on a raft while Saigon fell, EBC began as a single campus in Everett, Washington, and has grown to seven campuses across the state. Welcome to the Founder of Evergreen Beauty College's Story

This session features four of the Trieu siblings, all of whom work at EBC: Joe Trieu, President; Frank Trieu, Vice President of Business Development; Thersa Tran, Vice President of Finance; and Paul Trieu, Director of Information Technology. When asked about working with his family, Joe was quoted: "My dad always saw all of us kids as fingers on a hand … with different gifts and values. He said … "A finger can pick up one item, but when you have all five fingers, you can start picking up much larger things easier, be more effective, and make greater change." And so his goal was … as we grew older to do things together, because he saw kind of that strength."
