Kevin Badgley helps clients reach practical conclusions in the financing, development, acquisition, and disposition of commercial real estate. Kevin regularly counsels institutional lenders and borrowers in commercial lending and real estate finance transactions. He has a particular expertise in construction and term lending transactions involving affordable housing projects supported by low-income housing tax credits. Kevin's experience representing both borrowers and lenders gives him insight into both parties' respective goals, allowing him to work collaboratively with others toward an efficient closing. In addition to his work on financing matters, Kevin also has extensive experience advising real estate owners, investors, developers, and joint ventures in the acquisition, disposition and development of a wide variety of properties across the country.

Affordable housing finance

Represents various institutional lenders in connection with complex affordable housing lending transactions involving a broad range of funding sources, including tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and various government-sponsored loan and grant programs.

Traditional commercial lending

Counsels national and regional banks, private lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of financing transactions secured by various types of real property and personal property collateral.

Acquisitions and dispositions

Represents buyers and sellers of commercial real estate, including residential apartment complexes, mixed-use projects, industrial properties, offices, hotels and retail facilities.
