Ella represents financial services firms and their employees, including broker-dealers, large brokerage firms, and registered investment advisors, on securities litigation and enforcement and regulatory matters. Ella also focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and cybercrime enforcement. Ella has experience with managing high volume litigation dockets and conducting settlement negotiations and cybercrime investigations. She also handles a wide variety of small claims brought by plaintiffs in Virginia General District Courts against public companies, ranging from contract to employment disputes. She generally advises public and private companies in litigation, arbitration, enforcement proceedings, and trading-related regulatory inquiries. Much of her work has focused on representing financial services clients in FINRA arbitrations and FINRA investigations. She also counsels both registered representatives seeking expungement of customer complaints from their CRD records and firms regarding their Form U4 disclosures.

Ella gained significant experience in all aspects of customer initiated FINRA arbitration at McGonigle P.C., before the firm combined with Davis Wright Tremaine.

During law school, Ella gained experience as a Legal Extern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, Civil Division. Ella also served as a legal intern at the National Labor Relations Board.
