Helena Berezowskyj is an intellectual property attorney who is part of DWT's technology team specializing in patent litigation. Experienced at managing all phases of litigation, from pre-filing investigations through pre-trial briefing, Helena leverages broad legal and technical expertise across industries to provide clients with exceptional service.

She is knowledgeable in numerous areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, and copyright enforcement across a variety of technologies ranging from pharmaceuticals to information technology hardware, software, and industrial tools. With a background in biology and chemistry, Helena is well versed in Hatch-Waxman litigation and experienced in freedom to operate patent analyses for Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act litigation.

Helena serves clients on all aspects of litigation, including appeals, in federal court as well as proceedings before arbitration panels and the USPTO. Her practice also includes trade secret misappropriation pre-suit investigation and litigation and the handling of Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization for the transfer of trademark-infringing domain names.

Hatch-Waxman litigation*

Represented pharmaceutical clients through Hatch-Waxman patent infringement cases relating to a variety of drugs for the treatment of an array of diseases and conditions.

Patent litigation*

Secured injunctive relief and favorable settlement for client in patent infringement dispute regarding drawer release system following successful Motion for Summary Judgment.

UDRP proceedings*

Successfully represented client before WIPO in UDRP proceedings against bad-faith actors leading to the transfer of numerous trademark-infringing domain names to client.
