Jennifer Logan Davis
Paralegal
Jennifer Davis has been a paralegal since 1998. As a case manager, she utilizes up-to-date technology to streamline complex litigation throughout the life of the case. She has extensive experience in all aspects of complex litigation, including electronic discovery, case management, and trial. She has been the lead paralegal for litigation teams involving product liability, insurance defense, intellectual property, and class action cases. Jennifer has extensive trial preparation and support experience and is a firm leader in the use of software programs such as Relativity and Trial Director. She regularly attends trials to manage presentations.
Jennifer's areas of focus include:
- Supervises fast moving, time-sensitive discovery, including electronic discovery, on-site document collection, and database management, often for multiple parties
- Assists clients with document collection and processing
- Manages vendor relationships in conducting electronic discovery and processing electronically stored information, as well as managing hosted databases
- Performs complex fact research and analysis
- Creation of review protocols including use of review platform and electronic fact chronologies, insurance coverage summaries and charts, complex timelines, demonstratives, and visuals for use at hearings and trial
- Participates in substantive document reviews for responsiveness and privilege, as well as management of large review teams
- Assists with all aspects of motion practice, including cite checking and Shepardizing, and the preparation of supporting declarations and exhibits for complex briefs
- Advanced proficiency in managing pretrial and trial preparation, including logistical planning, preparation of pretrial submissions, coordinating with courtroom personnel, tracking the admission of evidence into the record, and operation of trial equipment and presentation technology
- Lead paralegal in several large trials often lasting several months and requiring travel
- Experience working for multiple parties at trial, as well as managing discovery for co-counsel and joint defense groups
