Sara A. Doody
Pro Bono Attorney
Sara is the Pro Bono Attorney at DWT. In this role, she helps to drive DWT's commitment to providing high-quality legal services to underserved communities. Prior to joining DWT, Sara worked in the public service legal sector for many years. Most recently, she was a public defender in the Criminal Defense Practice at the Legal Aid Society in New York City for six years. Sara served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lois Bloom in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York for two years following her graduation from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, Sara worked as a clinical law student at the Innocence Project, the Prisoners' Rights Project at The Legal Aid Society, and in Cardozo's Criminal Defense Clinic.
