Katie Eissenstat
Associate
Admitted to practice only in Oklahoma and Texas. Supervised by partners in the New York office.
Katie Eissenstat helps clients build comprehensive global brand protection strategies, with an emphasis on trademark counseling, clearance, prosecution, and dispute resolution.
Before entering private practice, Katie served as a trademark examining attorney and examined thousands of trademark applications on behalf of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She now leverages her inside agency knowledge to offer clients strategic insights into selecting, securing, and enforcing their trademark rights. She also gained valuable in-house perspective as acting product counsel for a leading global technology company and internet retailer.
Katie's practice includes comprehensive global portfolio management, trademark selection and registration, assessment of infringement risks, managing complex disputes, and negotiating rights agreements. She regularly handles brand enforcement and cease-and-desist efforts, takedowns, and domain name disputes, and she represents clients in ex parte appeals, oppositions, and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
