Tim Hagen
Counsel
Tim Hagen is a member of the firm's corporate and business transactions group. He focuses his practice on emerging companies and venture capital, advising private companies, venture funds, and family investment offices on strategic investments, preferred stock financings, recapitalizations, bridge financings, and early liquidity transactions. For startups and emerging companies, Tim also serves as primary outside counsel.
Tim also has significant experience representing private companies and acquirers in mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, joint ventures, and cross-border transactions. He primarily represents clients in the technology sector.
Tim is active with pro bono work, representing companies and nonprofits on microfinance, immigration, IP, and other issues. Before joining DWT, Tim spent the majority of his legal career in Silicon Valley practicing at a global firm.
