Dieter Hellmoldt is an intellectual property litigator with a strong technical background. He also has extensive expertise in general commercial litigation, as well as IP counseling, licensing, and patentability.
Dieter has more than 15 years of experience representing clients in trade secret, patent, trademark, and copyright disputes. He has participated in all aspects of IP and general business litigation, from case initiation to trial. Prior to joining DWT, he was lead attorney in a complex software trade secret case, securing a favorable jury verdict for the defendant. He has represented a range of companies, from small businesses to multinational corporations, in developing and executing their litigation and settlement strategies.
Drawing on his previous career as an engineer and chemist, Dieter provides informed and practical advice to clients in a broad spectrum of technologies, including: software, internet, SaaS, abbreviated new drug applications (ANDA), semiconductors and semiconductor processing, and hardware.
