In his practice, Pete Johnson helps clients develop and launch new product and service offerings and go-to-market strategies and advises clients in connection with the structuring and negotiation of strategic third-party relationships. As lead, outside counsel on large, client initiatives, Pete coordinates all aspects of DWT's support, including regulatory analysis and guidance, privacy and data security assessments and advice, and merger and acquisition activity. Pete regularly assists clients with complex, domestic and international financial, commercial, and technology transactions, and he has extensive experience supporting cloud, e-commerce, mobile commerce, emerging payments, and supply-chain initiatives.

In addition to his practice, Pete has served in numerous leadership roles during his tenure at Davis Wright Tremaine and as a member of local boards of directors. Most recently, Pete served as the interim, firmwide managing partner at the request of the firm's Executive Committee. Pete is a current member of the firm's Executive Committee, led the firm's largest office as the partner-in-charge for 5+ years, and chaired the firm's Partner Compensation Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Office of the Future Committee.

Represented Fortune 100 technology company in global business process outsourcing transaction, including exit management advising relating to a prior vendor with global operations.

Product development

Coordinated broad-based legal support for Fortune 100 company in connection with its development of new enterprise cloud services offerings, including transactional representation on in-bound technology and data licensing transactions and advice on privacy, data security, and regulatory matters.
