Paige Knight is an associate in the banking and financial services practice at Davis Wright Tremaine, where she advises financial institutions, fintech companies, payments platforms, and other emerging financial services innovators on a wide spectrum of regulatory, compliance, and supervisory matters. Her work spans federal and state financial services frameworks, including licensing, consumer protection compliance, bank regulatory issues, trust bank applications, supervisory examinations, and responses to regulatory inquiries. She regularly helps companies navigate complex questions involving product structuring, third‑party partnerships, money movement frameworks, and cross‑border considerations, with experience touching traditional financial institutions, high‑growth fintechs, card and payments providers, and technology companies expanding into financial services.
Paige's practice also includes substantial experience supporting clients through enforcement matters, risk assessments, and regulatory investigations. She has assisted on matters involving multi‑state licensing regimes, administrative law questions, detailed statutory and regulatory analyses, and high‑stakes responses to state and federal financial regulator findings. Her work includes supporting regulatory diligence for complex corporate transactions, evaluating compliance obligations tied to digital asset and payments products, and assessing consumer protection and UDAAP risk.
Before joining DWT, Paige practiced at a national law firm and served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She received her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as senior managing editor of the Florida Law Review, and she holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University.
