Emily Laird works in the firm's litigation group. As an accomplished legal researcher and writer, Emily has been recognized for her contributions to academic publications, law journals, and The New York Times, covering a variety of topics such as products liability, human trafficking, education law, constitutional law, and court operations. Previously a background investigator for the State Department, where she interviewed potential federal employees overseas and in the U.S., Emily is an expert interviewer with vast experience confronting language and cultural barriers.
