Ronald Law helps clients negotiate and close debt and equity financings. With experience representing borrowers and lenders in a variety of credit facilities, Ronald ensures that his clients provide or obtain financing on terms that are suitable for the transaction and consistent with market trends. In particular, Ronald has significant experience representing private-equity funds and other sponsors on acquisition financings. In addition, he also assists private companies and investors with growth and late-stage equity investments and joint-venture transactions.
Practice Highlights
Acquisition financings
Represented two private equity firms with more than $20 billion of combined assets under management on various acquisition financing credit facilities, with aggregate transaction proceeds totaling more than $2 billion.
Secured shelf facility
Represented privately held investment company in its issuance of $150 million of secured promissory notes pursuant to a private-placement shelf facility.
Junior debt
Represented multinational aquaculture and seafood business in its issuance of $60 million of junior subordinated notes as well as in related transactions amending its senior credit facility and senior subordinated debt facility.
