Admitted to practice only in Pennsylvania. Practicing under the supervision of D.C. Bar members.
Marci Love provides legal and regulatory counseling to healthcare providers, suppliers, and other industry entities. Drawing on her extensive government and healthcare leadership experience, she helps clients navigate the complex web of laws, regulations, and policies that govern federal healthcare programs. Marci has deep knowledge of the Medicare program and is a leading expert on quality measurement and value-based payment, reimbursement, hospital configuration and classification issues, provider-based status, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) Innovation Center alternative payment models, and hospital price transparency.
Prior to joining DWT, Marci served for more than two decades in the CMS Division of the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), most recently as a supervisory attorney. While at HHS, she gained a comprehensive understanding of the federal regulatory landscape and the issues facing healthcare entities. She also developed legal strategies to support CMS's policy objectives and counseled CMS on all aspects of program implementation, including notice-and-comment rulemaking, guidance development, and compliance enforcement. Marci's institutional insight enables her to offer clients unique perspectives on federal policy development, as well as practical legal and regulatory advice to advance their business needs.
Earlier in her career, Marci was an associate at two Philadelphia-based law firms, where she worked on commercial litigation matters.
