Dominik Mackinnon
Associate
A member of the firm's employment services group, Dominik Mackinnon represents clients across industries in connection with a wide array of labor and employment matters. Dominik has defended employers in cases involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour disputes, leave violations, and breach of contract. In addition to regularly drafting court filings, managing discovery, and representing clients in state and federal courts, he routinely helps clients respond to agency charges from state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, and Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries. Dominik also has experience advising clients on labor-related issues.
Before transitioning to law, Dominik trained new nurses and nursing students as a medical-surgical nurse leader at a major not-for-profit health system. There, he supervised teams of nurses and nursing assistants while training new staff and students.
Dominik currently serves as a board member for the Columbia-Willamette YMCA.
