Mohammad Pathan helps companies navigate high-stakes commercial disputes where litigation risk intersects with business operations, regulatory obligations, and reputational concerns. He focuses his practice on financial services litigation, logistics-related disputes, and technology litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts and arbitration.

Practice Highlights

Financial services litigation

Represents banks and other financial institutions in complex commercial and consumer disputes, including class action matters involving bank fees and charges, cross-border enforcement matters, subpoena responses, and litigation involving the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, and OFAC regulations.

Logistics and transportation disputes

Brings a practical, business-focused approach to matters involving freight-payment issues, carrier and broker disputes, asset recovery, cargo and supply chain issues, and defenses arising under federal and state transportation law, including the Carmack Amendment. Serves as a trusted advisor on operationally sensitive logistics disputes.

Technology litigation

Handles commercial disputes, customer and vendor disputes, and subpoena-related litigation for both emerging and established technology clients. Develops litigation strategies that are legally sound, commercially practical, and tailored to each client’s business objectives.
