Scott Prange empowers clients to command the workplace for competitive edge by fostering a workforce that is agile and cohesive, establishing a strong culture of proactive compliance, and creatively diffusing conflict when it arises.
Every company is unique. Scott gets it. He works one-on-one with employers to tailor solutions that work—driven by and grounded by their culture and shaped by the distinct challenges they face. He advises on wide-ranging employment-related matters, with an eye on anticipating and preventing problems. This includes workplace DEI; strategic workforce recruitment; drafting robust employment agreements and restrictive covenants; employee compensation; wage and hour compliance; occupational safety; securing workplace access to and use of trade secrets; employee performance management; employee requests for leave or accommodation; employee defections; and mass layoffs.
Scott defends clients in federal and state courts against class actions and single plaintiff complaints during all stages of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including for claims of employment discrimination or harassment, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour violations. He also represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Washington State Human Rights Commission, the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, and the Seattle Office of Labor Standards.
