Rashmi Raj advises technology and industrial companies on intellectual property strategy and technology transactions, with a particular focus on patent and trademark portfolio development and prosecution, technology and data licensing, and commercialization of software and SaaS offerings. She counsels clients on AI, open-source software, copyright, branding, and IP risk management, and supports clients in enforcement matters involving patents, trademarks, and copyrights as well as IP due diligence in M&A transactions.
Rashmi has more than 20 years of experience guiding stakeholders across product, engineering, marketing, and executive teams. She has also served as the primary liaison to outside counsel, helping enhance consistency and efficiency in outside-firm relationships.
Rashmi earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
