Rodney Shanks

Rodney Shanks is a senior litigation and privacy paralegal with more than 20 years of experience supporting complex legal matters in law firm environments. He has significant trial experience, including multiple International Trade Commission investigative hearings, and currently supports the firm's privacy & security group on compliance, incident response, and related matters.

Rodney has substantial experience managing time sensitive matters, including data breach and incident response engagements. His work includes coordinating fact gathering, assisting with regulatory and attorney general notifications, and supporting the development of compliance-related work product. He brings strong analytical skills to complex fact research, document review, and data analysis, with a focus on accuracy and consistency throughout all phases of a matter.

Throughout his career, Rodney has served as a key point of coordination for legal teams, managing workflows, communications, and project status while maintaining a high level of client service. He has developed and maintained knowledge management resources, including attorney templates and research materials, and regularly assists with drafting memoranda, summaries, and other work product.

Rodney is highly proficient in Relativity and other document management and legal research platforms, as well as Microsoft 365 applications. He is known for his attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and collaborative approach to supporting clients and legal teams in fast paced environments.
