Xin Shao practices patent law with a focus on patent prosecution for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and related complex technologies. He has extensive experience handling high-value AI/ML patents for leading tech companies driving innovation in the AI/ML space. He also conducts invalidity analysis and infringement analysis to support patent litigation and enforcement.
Xin has a strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning. His expertise covers image processing, computer vision, natural language processing, generative models (LLMs, diffusion models), neural network architectures including deep learning (CNN, RNN) and transformers, and agentic AI systems.
