David Silverman
Attorney
David Silverman represents and advises communications industry clients, specializing in broadcast regulatory and transactional matters. He has represented broadcast clients before the Federal Communications Commission in connection with a variety of transactional and regulatory matters, including licensing, station sales, ownership and attribution, EEO, political advertising, equipment, and the panoply of other federal regulatory matters confronting broadcasters. He also advises broadcasters regarding associated commercial issues, including content licensing, copyright, defamation, obscenity, and indecency.
Also well regarded in intellectual property law, David has long advised clients on IP protection strategies, trademark portfolio management, music licensing and streaming, and children's programming and advertising. He has managed all types of litigation involving trademarks and copyright, having spearheaded cases regarding unauthorized uses of content and represented clients in infringement cases. He also has advised on niche issues involving internet gambling and domain names.
