Lisa Southerland works in the firm's litigation group, specializing in complex commercial disputes involving technology companies. She has extensive experience in federal court and arbitration, assisting clients with all matters relating to trial, motions, arbitration, and negotiations.
Lisa's areas of expertise include claims involving consumer fraud and protection, negligence, wage and overtime, and breach of contract. She has experience defending these claims in individual cases as well as in class and mass actions.
While in law school, Lisa clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice, working on civil immigration cases and appeals. From 2011 to 2013, she served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Armenia, writing grant proposals for USAID-sponsored programs, leading training for the Peace Corps staff and local communities, and teaching English to local schoolchildren.
