Elyse Sparks is a member of the firm's technology, communications, and privacy and security group. She has experience drafting and reviewing, licensing agreements and terms of service, advising on privacy issues, and supporting litigation efforts. Elyse is committed to advancing scholarship on the legal implications of technology, including facilitating a collaboration between Seattle University Law Review Online and Seattle University's Technology, Innovation Law, and Ethics (TILE) Program and co-authoring an article on neurotechnology in the workplace.
Before joining the firm, Elyse clerked for U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she offered insight on policy developments. Prior to law school, she served four years on the lower bench of King County Superior Court and spent a decade in the restaurant industry.
