Olalekan Sumonu is a member of the firm's market-leading media group. He specializes in copyright, trademark, and First Amendment matters on behalf of media and entertainment clients. His experience includes drafting motions in copyright disputes, trademark enforcement, prepublication vetting, and NIL counseling, as well as advising news and media organizations such as The Markup and ESPN.
Lekan's legal experience extends past media law to civil rights and constitutional law and pro bono matters. He previously served in law enforcement, as a police officer for New Jersey Transit, and provided legal assistance for the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey.
