Angelene G. Superable works in the financial services practice group. She has experience handling regulatory and litigation matters, including federal appeals in multiple circuits and white-collar controversies. Angelene has provided legal analysis into cryptocurrency and blockchain issues, Bank Secrecy Act risks, AML trends, and Equal Credit Opportunity Act claims, among other matters. Beyond financial services, Angelene notably co-authored an article for the Brookings Institution with Professor Eloise Pasachoff, the preeminent scholar on appropriations law, analyzing Government Accountability Office appropriations law decisions across four presidential administrations.

As a student attorney in Georgetown Law's Appellate Litigation Clinic, Angelene represented an incarcerated client in a Fourth Circuit removal case and delivered oral argument in the appeal. She was also selected as a Law Fellow, Georgetown Law's competitive teaching fellowship.

Prior to her legal career, Angelene served as the deputy director of communications for the New York governor and the director of communications for the New York lieutenant governor. She also worked as the communications advisor, deputy press secretary, and special assistant for the New York City mayor during the COVID-19 pandemic.
