Nicholas A. Valera
Associate
Nick Valera's litigation practice focuses on complex commercial matters before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as matters pending before administrative boards. Throughout the course of his diverse litigation practice, he has litigated disputes spanning administrative actions, corporate governance, securities, real estate, insurance coverage, products liability, trade secrets, and intellectual property.
As member of the Washington Army National Guard, Nick serves as an officer in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, currently assigned to Trial Defense Services. His years of public service further include two years as an agroforestry volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps overseas, and a year at home as a resource community development coordinator with AmeriCorps VISTA.
