Nicholas A. Valera
Associate
Nick Valera's litigation practice focuses on complex commercial matters before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as arbitrations. Throughout the course of his diverse litigation practice, he has litigated disputes spanning administrative actions, regulatory enforcement, corporate governance, securities, real estate, insurance coverage, products liability, trade secrets, and intellectual property.
As a reservist judge advocate in the Washington Army National Guard, Nick is assigned to the 81st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, where he advises commanders on military justice and operational law. His years of public service further include two years as an agroforestry volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps, Cameroon, and a year working with the Somali community in the Seattle area as an AmeriCorps VISTA.
