Caleah Whitten focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on class actions. She represents clients across a wide range of industries, including food and beverage, technology, healthcare, financial services, and transportation, and regularly advises on matters involving significant legal, operational, and reputational risk.
Caleah's practice includes defending class actions and single-plaintiff matters in state and federal courts, as well as representing clients in arbitrations involving consumer complaints, trade secret disputes, and commercial issues. She also has experience handling transportation-related litigation, helping clients navigate prelitigation disputes, lawsuits, and arbitrations with an eye toward efficient resolution and risk mitigation.
She has substantial experience managing all phases of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions in court, and handling discovery and complex motions practice. Caleah has played key roles in briefing and arguing dispositive motions, class certification issues, and summary judgment, and she regularly assists clients with strategic decision-making throughout the life of a case.
Prior to joining DWT, Caleah served as a litigation associate for a multinational law firm in New York. She also served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Gregory A.
